We are very happy to announce that our association will erect the monument in the city of Yui, to the memory of the place where our founder, President Tetsundo Tanabe sensei spent his boyhood.
It is to be put down at one corner of Aso Shrine in Yui City, which is, at it were, a cradle of Sportschanbara.
We think it is very well timed because our Sportschanbara is getting globalized. And to complete this monument and the bulletin board,our friend swordsmen abroad have helped us a lot in a financial way.
So when you have chance to come to Japan ,Please visit Yui City and have a look at the monument, then you can think back the history of Sportschanbara.
The completion is the middle in August.
